Cuenca and The Galapagos!

We are soon ending our homestays in Cuenca, and I have had a wonderful time with my host mom Marianna and sister Rocio...It has been nice to be living in a house where I can have some space to breath...but I am excited to be living with our wonderful group again. We still have classes everyday in an actual classroom downtown Cuenca...weird. But not for long...on Saturday we leave for The GALAPAGOS where we will be having classes on the boat! I am so excited! In Travel Journalism we are writing our school newspapers for the next article...I will hopefully be reporting on the Galapagos or other exciting events we have recently encountered. Hope everyone is doing fantastic!

Love, Phoebe

Look for Galapagos Penguins and find out how much they weigh! haha

Can't wait to hear about your wonderful adventures. Hearing about the Galapagos from my grandfather years ago "hooked me"-his stories were mostly of incredible sea turtles as he was there when they were coming ashore to lay their eggs.

Have a blast you little chica caliente!
